Family Vision Center continues to monitor the evolving guidance on COVID-19 safety protocols from our Governor, CDC and other state health agencies.
As of May 19, 2021, we are happy to be able to unlock and open our doors again for our valued patients. However, we have decided to continue some of our COVID-19 protocols so that we take extra precaution protecting our patients and staff.
Governor Lamont announced updated mask protocols in Connecticut beginning on May 19, 2021. Although masks protocols have eased for vaccinated individuals, Governor Lamont's mandate states that masks will still be required in certain settings such as healthcare facilities.
As a private business and a health care facility, Family Vision Center will continue with the wearing of masks in our Bridgeport and Stratford locations, including in our examination rooms to keep our doctors and eye care professionals safe.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by a member of the Family Vision Center staff. You MUST wear a mask and you will be asked to use the hand sanitizer. Patients may now have one person accompany them on their visits, however we ask that you continue to arrive at least fifteen minutes before your scheduled appointment.
If you have an outside doctor’s prescription OR if you are a Family Vision Center patient coming in to select eyeglasses, it is best to avoid arriving between 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 pm as well as on Thursdays, as we have limited staff available during these times.
We will continue with our cleaning and sanitizing protocols after each and every patient.
Your cooperation with these guidelines is greatly appreciated as we want to ensure your safety and your complete satisfaction with your Family Vision Center visit. Please call us at Bridgeport: 203.333.2020 or Stratford: 203.377.2020 with any questions or if you need more information.
Thank you for your cooperation and helping everyone keep safe & healthy!
